Diepocell is a mixed- cellular polyurethane which has exellent damping properties with minimal cross extension, so it is ideal forbuffer elements.It is resistant to oil, grease, ozone, UV and ageing. The material can be used within temperature range of -35°C to + 80°C. Shorttemperature peaks of up to 100°C do not impair the material.
Impact buffers made of cellular polyurethane elastomere are available from a standard range of products.They are used in general mechanical engineering and in the construction of cranes. The buffers are supplied with centralmounting or square fixing plate. Dimensions are given in the tables on the next pages.With a special production method the cellular body is foamed directly on to the fixing plate. Special attention should be paid onour patended plastic plates. The additional use of a safety rope as a further security device is possible.
